Western values, principles, and our very vision for the future have never been under such profound and coordinated pressure. In Europe, a wave of radicalization is destabilizing our social fabric and upending the political balance, a trend we are now seeing echoed within the United States.

Simultaneously, we face a formidable and sophisticated challenger in China—a power that is not merely competing for market share, but also challenging the Western model. In this era of systemic competition, no nation can stand alone; eventually, even the United States will require a revitalized partner to maintain global stability. I am calling for a historic Transatlantic realignment: a partnership between a modernized, deregulated Europe and the United States to ensure our long-term resilience.
